According to ChainCatcher news reported by Decrypt, NFT CryptoPunk #2386 was purchased by a user using a "shotgun" method for 10 ETH. The current highest bid for this NFT is 600 ETH (approximately $1.42 million).

Previously, the owner of this NFT split it on a website called Niftex, with its ownership divided into 10,000 ERC-20 tokens in 2020, allowing investors to buy and sell individual fragments. Although the website has since shut down, the contract remains valid on-chain, triggering the buyout feature, and ultimately, this user acquired ownership of the NFT for a small fraction of its current value.
