ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer released its May operational data, showing that it mined a total of 196 bitcoins in May, an increase of 18% compared to April. The company's self-mining hash rate has increased to 13.6 EH/s, mainly due to the 3.9 EH/s SEALMINER A1 mining machines and the ongoing deployment of the A2 series mining machines.

In May, Bitdeer delivered 1.6 EH/s of SEALMINER A2 mining machines to customers. The company is currently accelerating its global infrastructure layout: a 70-megawatt nuclear power plant in Norway has been put into operation, with the remaining 105 megawatts expected to be completed by the end of June; an additional 368 megawatts at the Jigme Ling power station in Bhutan; and a 221-megawatt power plant in Ohio is set to be completed in phases in the second half of the year.

In May, Tether injected $50 million into Bitdeer by exercising warrants. The company expects its self-mining hash rate to reach 40 EH/s by October.
