Cryptocurrency journalist ZachXBT's investigation led to Cameron Redman's conviction and sentencing for damages

ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain detective ZachXBT, Canadian Cameron Redman has been convicted and ordered to pay restitution for his investigation.

In June 2022, Redman profited 250 ETH by selling access to the X platform dashboard, leading to the theft of over 10 well-known accounts (including JRNY, Beeple, Nouns, Zeneca, DeeKay, etc.) and millions of dollars in assets stolen through phishing scams.

Redman was known for stealing $37 million in a SIM swap attack in 2020.
