WSJ: GameStop plans to offer $56 billion to acquire eBay
According to the Wall Street Journal, GameStop will offer $56 billion to acquire eBay.
It is reported that GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen stated that GameStop currently holds about 5% of eBay's shares and has proposed to acquire eBay with a combination of cash and stock at $125 per share, which is about a 20% premium over eBay's closing price last Friday.
