After the launch of BOOST by Pump.fun, the graduation rate of tokens soared to 6.7%, which is about 8 times the average for June
According to data from The Block, the graduation rate of the Pump.fun token reached 6.7% last Friday, about 8 times the average level of June. The average for the previous four days was also 4.7%, significantly higher than the 2.5% of the previous week. The increase in the graduation rate is directly related to the newly launched BOOST default launch mechanism of Pump.fun.
BOOST targets what Pump.fun refers to as dead liquidity—previously, about 20% of the migration liquidity was permanently locked in the PumpSwap pool during token graduation migration. Now, this portion of funds will automatically execute a series of market buy orders within five minutes after migration, and all purchased tokens will be destroyed. BOOST takes effect only after the token is bound and does not mechanically increase the graduation rate; instead, it incentivizes traders to more actively push the token to reach the graduation threshold by ensuring immediate buying pressure and supply destruction after migration.
Meanwhile, the PUMP token has risen over 10% year-to-date, with an increase of nearly 60% in the past month, outperforming Bitcoin's approximately 25% decline this year. Its current market capitalization is about $850 million, with a fully diluted valuation of over $1.8 billion.
