Wanchain was attacked by hackers, and NIGHT tokens were stolen. They demand the return of 90% and promise a white hat exemption

According to a post from Wanchain's official X account, on July 20, 2026, the Wanchain Bridge Cardano cross-chain bridge was attacked, and hackers stole NIGHT tokens. Wanchain immediately issued a notice to the attackers, requesting them to return 90% of the stolen NIGHT tokens by August 6 at 12:00 UTC, allowing them to keep 10% as a white hat bounty, and promising not to pursue civil liability.

Currently, some community users have pointed out that the hackers have completed the exchange of NIGHT tokens on DEX, and the price of NIGHT tokens has dropped by over 30%, now reported at $0.0188.
