Grayscale launches digital asset model portfolio

According to GlobeNewswire, Grayscale Investments announced the launch of Grayscale Model Portfolios. This series consists of professionally constructed model portfolios that provide recommended allocations for the digital asset ecosystem, each designed around different investment objectives to expand its offerings for advisors in a portfolio format.

Laurie Katz, Grayscale's Global Distribution Head, stated that advisors are increasingly looking to incorporate digital assets into client portfolios without having to build and maintain allocations item by item. This product combines portfolio construction expertise with over a decade of digital asset experience, enabling advisors to provide exposure to digital assets through a single familiar framework.

Each model incorporates multiple digital asset exchange-traded products into a single strategy, covering asset selection, position sizing, diversified allocations, and rebalancing. Grayscale Advisors, LLC delivers the models to financial platforms for advisors to implement in client accounts, with advisors retaining full discretion. The four initial strategies are all market-cap weighted, rebalanced quarterly, with a maximum single asset weight of 40%, including Digital Assets Core Plus, Digital Assets Leaders, Digital Assets Next Gen, and Digital Assets Infrastructure.
