Micron Technology CEO: Physical AI will become the driving force behind storage demand

Micron Technology Chairman and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra stated that, in addition to data centers, physical AI will be the next huge incremental market. Autonomous vehicles are the first major deployment of physical AI, with memory capacities for Level 4 and above autonomous vehicles typically exceeding 200GB and storage capacities reaching several TB. Micron believes that physical AI will become an important driver of storage demand.
