U.S. judge dismisses the class action lawsuit against LIBRA and M3M3, ruling that the RICO charges are unfounded
According to The Defiant, U.S. District Judge Jennifer Rochon ruled to dismiss the class action lawsuit against LIBRA and M3M3 tokens, and it was a "dismissal with prejudice," meaning the plaintiffs cannot bring the same claims again.
The judge found that the plaintiffs' reliance on a six-month issuance of Meme coins was insufficient to support the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) allegations; at the same time, the plaintiffs never listed Meteora as a suable entity.
