Analyst: Bitcoin briefly fell below $84,000, with long liquidations and active selling dominating
CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated that Bitcoin dropped from $85,500 to $83,900, then slightly rebounded to $84,100. This decline was accompanied by a dominance of active sell orders and forced liquidations of long positions.
Data shows that the Taker Order Pressure Oscillator once fell to -4.9, then rebounded to -3.1, indicating that the pressure from active selling has eased somewhat, but the bears still hold an advantage; at the same time, the Liquidation Pressure Oscillator dropped from -11 to -78, reflecting that forced liquidations of long positions are dominant. Analysis points out that if the Bitcoin price remains below $83,900 and both indicators maintain significantly negative values, there may be a risk of more persistent selling pressure.
