Trump announces over $1 billion investment in AI science conference

U.S. President Trump will attend the AI Science Conference on Thursday to announce that companies such as AMD, OpenAI, and Anthropic have made investment commitments exceeding $1 billion for the "Genesis Project."

Ten states in the southeastern United States will establish computing power hubs, with Georgia investing $1 billion. The National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy will invest over $100 million to develop AI scientific research tools.
