According to the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, Wu Qing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, presided over a Party Committee (expanded) meeting on October 30, conveying and studying General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party, and researching and deploying measures for implementation. The meeting emphasized that deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the plenary session is a major political task for the current and future period. The CSRC system must seriously organize and carry out interpretation and training comprehensively and categorically.

The meeting proposed to continue to focus on solving prominent problems and to promote a rapid surge in learning, publicity, and implementation. At the same time, it is necessary to fully leverage the political leadership and political guarantee role of strict governance of the Party, firmly establish a sense of overall situation and systematic thinking, make every effort to stabilize the market and expectations, deepen comprehensive reforms in investment and financing, improve the full-chain regulatory system, continuously enhance the resilience and confidence of the capital market, and ensure the successful completion of all tasks in the capital market in the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
