first_img Ethena Pay launched Earn+, aiming for rewards of up to 12%

Ethena Pay has begun rolling out the Earn+ feature, which claims that the dollar balance can earn a target annual reward of up to 12%. Initially, it is open to Pro and VIP users, with plans to expand to all users in the coming days. This feature will transfer funds from the main payment balance to an external Upshift vault, where Steakhouse Financial will execute a leveraged USDe strategy on Aave, aiming for a yield higher than the app's existing maximum tiered reward of 6%.According to documents released by Ethena Pay, the vault targets approximately 11 times leverage on Aave v4 on Avalanche, packaging repeated borrowing and reinvestment into a one-click deposit. The specific path involves depositing USDe as collateral, borrowing USDT, and then using the borrowed tokens to purchase more USDe in a loop, with returns depending on whether the USDe rewards can cover the USDT borrowing costs. Ethena Pay states that it only provides the interface and does not guarantee the assets, and users must bear the risk of vault losses, which may result in losing part or all of their invested funds.Ethena Pay claims that the simplified interface does not eliminate liquidation risk; when collateral is insufficient to cover debts, positions will face liquidation, with liquidators repaying debts and taking collateral and rewards. The 12% is only a target and not a guaranteed return, rates may be adjusted downwards, and Earn+ balances do not enjoy the Daily Boost of the main account. This product has no lock-up period, no fees for deposits or withdrawals, and withdrawals are processed to the main dollar account within 24 hours but may be delayed, and are not considered insured bank deposits. The initial total capacity limit for the vault is $4.5 million, with individual limits of $50,000 and $200,000 for Pro and VIP users, respectively, and $20,000 for Standard users.

first_img Zama: Merkl confidential incentive rewards are now available for collection

On October 19, the team from the fully homomorphic encryption company Zama announced that users participating in the incentive distribution platform Merkl on the Zama confidential vault can now directly receive cZAMA rewards in the Zama app. The rewards are settled through confidential transfers, and both the positions and the reward amounts remain confidential from deposit to distribution. In September 2026, Zama launched confidential access to 16 selected vaults on the lending protocol Morpho and initiated the first batch of confidential incentives with Merkl, where rewards are calculated based on encrypted balances. When depositing into eligible vaults, users can activate additional incentive options, granting viewing permissions for Merkl to read encrypted balances to calculate rewards without disclosing personal positions. This permission is enabled by default on the deposit interface, and deposits not shared with Merkl do not qualify for incentives.Confidential vaults accumulate based on the user's confidential vault shares and can be claimed during the ongoing activity; existing public vaults with confidential access have rewards collectively obtained by the vault packaging contracts, which are distributed after the activity ends. Zama recommends claiming confidential activities at the end to reduce multiple on-chain fees. Taking the Flowdesk Confidential High Yield USDT vault on Morpho as an example, the related activity ended on October 12, and eligible depositors can now claim their rewards. Users need to check their earnings in Merkl using their wallet and complete the claim in the Zama app by connecting the same wallet; the amount received will not be publicly disclosed on-chain.

Xie Jiayin: The peer-to-peer program has covered over 2.2 million people, with rewards totaling 3.49 million USD

Bitget held an offline event today to celebrate its eighth anniversary. The head of the Greater China region, Xie Jiayin, reflected on the platform's eight-year development journey, stating that Bitget has gradually expanded from a single cryptocurrency trading platform to a panoramic exchange (UEX) covering diverse scenarios such as stocks, commodities, and AI trading. As of the second quarter, the trading volume of non-cryptocurrency assets accounted for 40%, with approximately 1 in every 4 new users starting their Bitget journey through rToken.Looking towards the next phase, Xie Jiayin stated that Bitget will continue to advance the UEX strategy, expand more diverse assets and trading scenarios, and improve institutional-grade custody and over-the-counter settlement infrastructure to meet the differentiated needs of various types of institutions through diversified custody and settlement models. Institutional services will also continue to be an important strategic direction for Bitget in the next phase. At the event, Bitget simultaneously disclosed the progress of the third batch of rewards for the "Peer Program": a total of $3,495,658 in rewards has been distributed, benefiting 2,277,318 participants. Xie Jiayin expressed that the platform hopes to implement "user first" into concrete actions through product development, service upgrades, and user feedback.

Pump.fun adjusts the Callout reward mechanism: high-frequency releases lead to diminishing marginal returns, with rewards placing greater emphasis on content quality

Alon, co-founder of Pump.fun, stated that two months after the launch of the platform's $15 million Callout reward program, it was found that the initial mechanism inadvertently incentivized undesirable behavior, leading to a flood of low-quality content and weakening users' willingness to continuously create high-quality content.Pump.fun subsequently adjusted the reward algorithm to place greater emphasis on content quality rather than the quantity of posts. According to the new mechanism, the more Callouts a user posts each day, the lower the marginal returns from the new content. Alon mentioned that the reward mechanism is still undergoing iterations, but there is still a lot of work to be done to ensure that a large number of users can sustainably produce high-quality content over the long term.He also stated that the rewards currently cover both top accounts and accounts with fewer than 10 followers, with no favoritism or preferential treatment. Alon suggested that users focus on recommending quality tokens, building trader trust through content, and earning rewards based on the trading volume generated by their Callouts. He emphasized that simply flooding the platform with Callouts or dumping tokens to followers will not yield sustainable returns.
