IMF President: Countries need to address AI and debt risks
The President of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, stated that governments must urgently respond to the challenges posed by the imbalanced development of artificial intelligence, long-term energy shocks, and record levels of debt accumulation. She pointed out that the AI boom is driving inflation, and energy and food shocks will also push up inflation. Georgieva urged central banks in various countries to adopt a cautious hawkish stance.
