IBM and three other issuers oppose OKXICE tokenizing their stocks, bringing the total to 26
According to an update from Eleanor Terrett, host of Crypto in America, four more stock issuers have opposed OKXICE's tokenization of its shares based on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) innovation exemption, namely IBM, Oracle, Intel, and quantum computing company IonQ. The total number of issuers publicly opposing has now increased to 26.
It is understood that OKXICE is a joint venture funded by OKX and ICE, each holding 50% of the shares, operating its own business independently.
