Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) in Bhutan has appointed the Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ to manage an authorization supported by part of its Bitcoin reserves, as GMC is building a digital asset investment center.According to the cooperation arrangement, 3iQ will manage a portion of the Bitcoin allocated to support the development of Gelephu, with specific amounts not disclosed. 3iQ will also establish a long-term business locally, invest in local talent, and provide training and knowledge transfer.Bhutan announced in December 2025 that it would allocate up to 10,000 Bitcoins from its national holdings to support GMC.
