hyperliquid

Hyperliquid is a high-performance L1 platform. Its vision is a fully on-chain open financial system where user-built applications connect with high-performance native components, all without affecting the end-user experience. The performance of Hyperliquid L1 is sufficient to run an entire permissionless financial application ecosystem—every order, cancellation, trade, and settlement occurs transparently on-chain, with block delays of less than 1 second. The flagship native application is a fully on-chain order book perpetual exchange, Hyperliquid DEX.

first_img Pump.fun announced the launch of Elysium trading within its app on November 9

Pump.fun announced on October 28 that it will launch Elysium trading in its app on November 9, adding support for this network focused on Hyperliquid to its multi-chain trading business. Pump.fun posted on its official X account stating "Pumpfun App x @Enter_Elysium," and added "Trading starts November 9," with Kinetiq also announcing Pump.fun's entry into Elysium.Elysium is a Layer 2 built by Kinetiq based on Arbitrum Orbit, with transaction settlements occurring in the Hyperliquid smart contract environment HyperEVM, and network fees paid in HYPE. Its mainnet is scheduled to launch on November 9, 2026, coinciding with Pump.fun's trading start date; the chain will be rolled out in phases, with native HyperCore market data access and fast order submission paths expected to be provided in an upgrade approximately four weeks after the mainnet launch. The announcement only mentioned the Pump.fun app and did not disclose plans to migrate the company's Solana Meme coin issuance platform or its liquidity to Elysium. This plan is independent of another Hyperliquid integration announced earlier on the same day. Pump.fun stated that perpetual contract trading is now live within the app, allowing users to go long or short on cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities using USDC balances without cross-chain transactions; the service charges a fee of 0.05% per transaction, reduced to 0.04% with a referral code, plus standard Hyperliquid fees. The Elysium announcement did not specify its funding channels and trading fee terms.

first_img Avail launches the Hyperliquid privacy tool ShieldTX

According to The Block, the modular data availability layer Avail has announced the launch of the privacy perpetual contract trading platform ShieldTX, aimed at helping large traders cut off the public data chain and avoid being tracked by Order Tracking bots on Hyperliquid. ShieldTX is built on Avail's infrastructure, allowing users to deposit USDC from major EVM chains through Nexus and generate a brand new shielded wallet when opening a position, with orders directly routed to Hyperliquid's native order book. When users close their positions, funds will return to their shielded balance. Observers can see the deposits but cannot associate subsequent trading activities with the source wallet of the funds. Avail states that Order Tracking bots can replicate trades within seconds based on public data, and their subsequent trading volume can drive up prices, which is unfavorable for large orders. According to its analysis, ShieldTX can save 15 to 25 basis points per trade by breaking the public data chain, which significantly compounds savings for high-frequency large traders.ShieldTX also launched a wallet scanner that displays the public data relied upon by Order Tracking bots and reveals how trades are affected. Users can scan wallets to see who is copying their trades. In terms of underlying architecture, ShieldTX operates on a zkAppchain called Nightshade, where users deposit USDC into an Arbitrum settlement contract and receive equivalent receipts within Nightshade. However, currently, receipt management is handled by the sorter, which can see the receipt pre-images and user states; the positions on Hyperliquid remain publicly visible, and designated solvers are also aware of the position addresses they need to fund.

first_img Kraken's parent company plans to become Hyperliquid's first deployment entity regulated by the CFTC

The cryptocurrency trading platform Kraken's parent company Payward announced its intention to become the first CFTC-regulated deployer on the HIP-3* market of the on-chain perpetual contract infrastructure Hyperliquid. Payward will deploy a perpetual futures market for U.S. customers based on Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer.Upon obtaining regulatory approval, Payward's designated contract market and derivatives clearing organization Bitnomial, which is regulated by the CFTC, will act as the HIP-3* deployer, responsible for creating, holding, and managing the relevant market, as well as completing contract clearing and settlement. If approved, Payward's CFTC-registered futures commission merchant NinjaTrader Clearing will take over customer accounts.Hyperliquid stated that HIP-3 will support optional deployer configurations for licensed markets in future network upgrades, with the new features collectively referred to as HIP-3*. At its core is an on-chain whitelist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers, which is an incremental option for HIP-3, with the decision to enable it made by the deployer, while existing markets remain unchanged. The initial version has been launched on the test network, and the specifications are still preliminary and may be adjusted based on feedback. Hyperliquid stated that HIP-3* deployers are independently operated entities that use their on-chain infrastructure to operate their own markets and retain control and responsibility over the deployment.
