first_img Mechaman CEO Shao Tianlan: As embodied intelligence becomes more popular, we must be wary of short-sightedness

The industrial robot and embodied intelligence company Mechaman landed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 1, 2026, known as the "first stock of embodied intelligent eyes, brains, and hands." Founder and CEO Shao Tianlan stated that going public is just a move; what truly matters is that the company becomes a public entity. He still considers himself an engineer, spending about half of his time on core technology, application scenarios, and product iterations.Shao Tianlan pointed out that some embodied intelligence companies rely on data collection centers and industrial projects to generate revenue, with insufficient commercialization validation. He described companies that enter the public market prematurely, with high risks and unverified business models, as "secondary market primary." He believes this is a short-sighted approach that could cause significant harm to tech startups, China's innovation ecosystem, and the health of the capital market.Shao Tianlan positions Mechaman as a new technology-driven enterprise, with the expected management principles of being pragmatic, not exaggerating, and not being deceptive. He hopes to become a key general intelligent component similar to Microsoft and Siemens in the era of embodied intelligence. This IPO attracted participation from several long-term funds and industrial capital, including Baillie Gifford.

AWS's AI business and self-developed chip scale have grown to $25 billion, maintaining triple-digit percentage growth. Annapurna Labs' customized ASIC chips are mostly produced by TSMC using advanced 3-nanometer processes.World Advanced is an important partner for AWS's self-developed AI chips and is optimistic that its quarterly revenue and profits will reach new highs this season, with continued growth expected in the fourth quarter. The demand for 3-nanometer AI accelerators is better than previously assessed, and designs can be finalized before the end of the year. first_img The U.S. Department of Justice stated that it seized $560,000 in cryptocurrency associated with Hamas, and the FBI took over the fundraising website

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that it has seized over $560,000 in cryptocurrency originally intended to fund Hamas and has taken control of the domain names and servers used by the organization for fundraising and recruiting supporters. The Department of Justice released five affidavits along with the announcement on Wednesday, three of which were signed on March 25, June 25, and October 10, 2025, regarding the seizure order for the aforementioned $560,000 in cryptocurrency.According to court documents, investigators identified and tracked rotating cryptocurrency addresses promoted through encrypted group chats and fundraising websites with the help of human intelligence sources. The first actions recovered approximately $201,400 from wallets and accounts, which have transferred over $1.5 million since October 2024, with the related addresses allegedly controlled by Hamas's military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.Additionally, the FBI seized the domain name and servers used to operate the organization's main website Alqassam.ps, allowing them to intercept subsequent cryptocurrency donations. The Department of Justice stated that this operation enabled investigators to obtain information on thousands of individuals who contacted Hamas-related platforms, attempting to donate via cryptocurrency or traditional payment methods.
