Samsung SDS stated in its earnings call that its strategic investment in the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Dunamu is a "strategic layout for entering the digital asset infrastructure business." Both parties are discussing cooperation on stablecoin infrastructure, next-generation AI payments, and virtual asset financial system integration (SI). Samsung SDS President Lee Joon-hee mentioned that they will combine Dunamu's blockchain operation experience with Samsung SDS's capabilities in IT services, AI, cloud computing, and security to strengthen the digital financial infrastructure business.The earnings report disclosed on the same day showed that Samsung SDS's revenue for the second quarter was 3.7178 trillion won (approximately 2.6 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 5.9%; operating profit was 231.8 billion won (approximately 160 million USD), a year-on-year increase of 0.7%. Among them, the cloud computing business revenue was 779.4 billion won, a year-on-year increase of 17%, with external cloud computing business revenue surging 75% year-on-year. The company plans to expand its AI infrastructure from the current 110MW to 230MW by 2029, and further expand to over 800MW by 2031. Samsung SDS previously announced an investment of approximately 20 billion won in Dunamu in May 2024.

According to the Q2 2026 report released by the Safe Ecosystem Foundation on Wednesday, Safe smart accounts processed nearly 130 million transactions in the second quarter, setting a quarterly historical record with a 5.7% quarter-over-quarter growth. The total number of accounts reached 63.4 million, a year-on-year increase of 20%, and the monthly active accounts in June rose to 2.73 million. The transaction volume in April alone reached 55.4 million, the highest in history. The quarterly transfer amount reached $39.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8%, and the self-custodied assets at the end of the quarter amounted to $27.24 billion (including $6.48 billion in stablecoins), with project revenue of $1.98 million, a year-on-year increase of 42%.Co-founder Lukas Schor stated that Safe is evolving from a mere asset holding tool to a broader range of use cases, with usage continuing to grow at a compound rate in a weak market. The Safenet Beta, launched on April 2, attracted 54.8 million SAFE staked (with 539 stakers) in its first quarter and has checked over 500,000 transactions, operated by six validators including Greenfield and Gnosis. Additionally, after the KelpDAO attack incident, Aave-led DeFi United coordinated approximately $300 million through Safe smart accounts to help restore rsETH support, with over 142,000 wallets participating. The SAFE token rose 4.2% in the past 24 hours.

Microsoft released its Q4 fiscal year 2026 financial report, with revenue of $90 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18%, exceeding market expectations of $87.7 billion; adjusted earnings per share of $4.74, a year-on-year increase of 23%, which is 11.5% higher than expected; operating profit of $40.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18%. Intelligent cloud revenue was $39.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32%, with Azure and other cloud services revenue growing by 43%, significantly higher than the market expectation of 39.6%. Total revenue from Microsoft Cloud was $59.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 27%. CEO Satya Nadella disclosed that Azure's annual revenue has surpassed $100 billion for the first time, and paid users of Microsoft 365 Copilot exceeded 30 million.In terms of capital expenditure, the fourth quarter's property and equipment acquisition expenditure was $35.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 110%; total capital expenditure including finance leases was $41 billion, a year-on-year increase of 70%, but lower than the market expectation of $42.5 billion. The remaining performance obligations (RPO) for cloud business surged 84% year-on-year to $678 billion, about twice the annual revenue. Microsoft disclosed in a regulatory filing that new unexecuted data center lease commitments in the fourth quarter exceeded $130 billion, with the total unexecuted lease commitments increasing by 67.4% quarter-on-quarter to $329.1 billion. Annual revenue was $331.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18%; net profit was $133.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 31% (GAAP).
