hot_img WorkBuddy has been online for three months with a DAU exceeding 13 million, and Tencent's office agent is accelerating commercialization

According to a report by Z Finance, Tencent's AI-native desktop intelligent agent platform WorkBuddy entered public beta on March 9, achieving a monthly active user count of 20 million across all platforms within 3 months, with daily active users surpassing 13 million, including over 2 million daily active users on the PC side, and a DAU/MAU ratio stabilizing between 65%-75%. The product is led by Liu Yi, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, with a core team of about one hundred people, classified internally as one of the highest priority AI projects. The team claims they are currently only "temporarily ahead by half a position."WorkBuddy is derived from Tencent's previously launched AI programming assistant CodeBuddy, which has already covered about 12,000 engineers within Tencent. The product completed prototype development on January 17, and after the public beta in March, it has undergone a total of 43 iterations, gradually integrating capabilities related to QClaw developed by the Tencent PC Manager team based on an open-source framework. The product adopts a multi-model access strategy, with the underlying self-developed Harness engine for unified scheduling. In terms of commercialization, at the end of April, Tencent Cloud adjusted its pricing: the SaaS enterprise version was raised from 78 yuan/person/month to 198 yuan, and the private cloud enterprise version was raised from 158 yuan to 316 yuan. Market information indicates that it has acquired thousands of enterprise clients and over one hundred thousand paid seats, with an estimated annual revenue of about 300 million yuan. Third-party evaluations show that the product scored an average of 2.31/4 points on 70 questions (Word category 2.85 points, Design category 1.45 points), indicating that it is still some distance from producing stable results without manual modifications.

Kuaishou plans to spin off Keling AI and raise $2 billion at a valuation of $20 billion, with Tencent participating in the negotiations

According to an exclusive report by LatePost, Kuaishou plans to spin off its video generation large model business "Keling AI" and initiate a $2 billion financing round with an estimated valuation of about $20 billion. They are currently in talks with investors such as Tencent, and the deal has not yet been completed. Based on the current market value, Keling's valuation is already close to 70% of Kuaishou's overall market value. The report states that Keling's current annual recurring revenue (ARR) has reached $500 million, doubling since before the Spring Festival, significantly exceeding Kuaishou's previous expectations. At the beginning of 2025, Kuaishou set an annual revenue target of $60 million for Keling, but the final annual revenue reached $150 million. In the face of increased competition from giants like ByteDance and Alibaba in the video generation field, Kuaishou has established an independent option pool and special incentive mechanisms for Keling. It is reported that if the future IPO valuation reaches $40 billion, team incentives will be further enhanced. Currently, Keling has become one of the fastest-growing products in the global video generation field. By early 2026, it ranked first in the iOS drawing and design charts in nearly 40 countries and regions, including Brazil, Russia, and Singapore, and became one of the highest-grossing graphic design applications in South Korea and Russia.

Tencent Cloud Industry Architect Alan Nie: The dual engines of Cloud + AI drive Web3 to break through the bottlenecks of infrastructure and R&D efficiency

At the "Crypto 2026: From Cryptocurrency to Smart Economy" themed forum held in Hong Kong, Tencent Cloud's industry architect Alan Nie delivered a keynote speech titled "Cloud + AI Dual Engine: Tencent Cloud Empowers New Growth in Web3."Alan Nie pointed out that Web3 enterprises face three major bottlenecks in global infrastructure, R&D efficiency, and business intelligence. Tencent Cloud deeply integrates the "Cloud + AI" dual engine to provide low-latency infrastructure covering the globe. Among them, the Singapore data center is the only cloud provider in the world that offers four availability zones, and the self-developed TDSQL-C database can achieve elastic scaling in seconds, with Redis single-node performance reaching over 300,000.In terms of AI empowerment, Tencent Cloud launched CodeBuddy (AI Pair Programmer) and WorkBuddy (Personal AI Assistant), which can automatically generate code, batch process office documents, organize meeting minutes, and support multi-agent parallel execution of complex tasks. In financial scenarios, the automation research report reproduction cycle has been shortened from three days to half a day; in on-chain data analysis scenarios, storage costs have been reduced to one-tenth of the original, with query responses reaching millisecond levels.Alan Nie stated that Tencent Cloud is committed to using the "Cloud + AI" dual engine to help Web3 enterprises build the next generation of smart economic infrastructure.
