User chris__lu posted that they compiled all 236 companies and 470 founders from the YC Summer 2026 batch, categorizing each company into an AI technology stack layer and comparing it to the Spring batch using the same criteria. This batch still has 91% related to AI. The model companies increased from 8% to 20%, the application layer decreased from 55% to 39%, horizontal applications dropped from 58 to 32, and vertical applications remained at 25%.In the Spring, 45% of companies delivered autonomous agents, while in the Summer, it was 33%, with "agent" in a one-sentence introduction dropping from 27% to 19%. 21 companies are engaged in computational infrastructure, 11 focus on inference costs, and there are also companies for training data and reinforcement learning environments. Scale AI is listed as an alternative target by 8 companies. The industrial category increased from 12% to 24%, with 45 companies delivering physical products, 24 being robots or physical AI, and 21 companies operating their own businesses rather than selling software.This batch is the youngest, with 37% of founders being students or graduates in the last two years, 59 teams are entirely student teams, the dropout rate increased from 3% to 9%, and repeat founders decreased from 32% to 23%, with 84% having a technical background. 39 from Berkeley, 32 from MIT, and 25 from Stanford. Amazon is the largest source of talent. Sales and marketing AI decreased from 18 to 6. Only 19 founders come from AI labs, accounting for 4%. 8 founding teams come from the same previous employer.

Douyin internal testing AI workshop, the recommendation page adds interest card display for AI applications

Douyin is currently conducting an internal test of the AI Workshop, aimed at ordinary creators and developers, providing a complete link from AI application building, debugging, and operation to platform distribution, deeply integrating with Douyin's internal traffic system. Crypto asset management firm Grayscale and the crypto policy organization Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) support establishing an optional confidential filing period to reduce competitors from submitting imitation documents.Charles Schwab opposes complete confidentiality and suggests that filing documents should be made public at least 75 days in advance. Grayscale requests that the SEC respond within 45 days, while CCI argues that the confidentiality process should not extend the automatic effectiveness or review period. Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (A16z) supports shortening the review time but emphasizes that the rigor of the review should not be reduced; trading firm Jane Street believes that accelerating the process could lead to a decline in product quality, competitiveness, and liquidity.Currently, there are 174 ETFs related to crypto assets in the U.S., with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) managing approximately $61 billion in assets, accounting for about 38% of the total assets of related ETFs. Apple faces a $2.7 billion class action lawsuit: accused of unfair application tracking rules against third-party developers, gaining improper advantages in its own advertising ecosystem

The lawsuit was filed today in the London Competition Appeal Tribunal by Ann Pope, a former senior official of the UK's Competition and Markets Authority, representing app developers.The core allegation is that Apple's "App Tracking Transparency" (ATT) feature, launched in 2021, imposes stricter restrictions on third-party developers than on its own services, giving Apple's own advertising ecosystem an unfair competitive advantage. Ann Pope stated that Apple's policies "have caused very significant harm to businesses that rely on Apple as a gatekeeper."Since its launch, the ATT feature has been a focal point of concern for global regulators for several years. Apple's official stance is that the feature is designed to allow users to control whether to permit apps to track their activities across other companies and websites.However, the plaintiffs argue that the actual enforcement of this rule has a double standard—tracking requests from third-party apps require strict pop-up authorization, while Apple's own personalized ads and services can bypass the same restrictions. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China has launched a special action to cultivate artificial intelligence application service providers, encouraging various regions to increase the procurement of large models, intelligent agents, and Token services through first purchase and first use, risk compensation, and other methods, while using tools such as "computing power vouchers" to reduce computing power costs.The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also establish a national resource pool for AI application service providers, aiming to exceed 2,000 by the end of 2026 and no less than 3,000 by the end of 2027. These service providers mainly help enterprises implement AI projects, with services ranging from early consulting, program design, to system development, integration delivery, and then to subsequent operation and maintenance and security governance.This policy also specifically names FDE. first_img OneKey reproduces the transaction replacement attack targeting the old version of the Ledger Ethereum application

The security team of the open-source wallet provider OneKey successfully replicated the exploitation of a vulnerability in the old version of the Ledger Ethereum application in a laboratory environment. OneKey's founder and CEO Wang Yishi stated that they executed a "transaction replacement attack" on Ledger Ethereum application version 1.22.1 by exploiting a previously patched vulnerability, allowing attackers to overwrite pending transactions while users review legitimate transactions.Ledger responded that exploiting this vulnerability requires controlling the communication between the device and the host, such as through malware, compromised wallet software, or malicious web pages. Ledger has added application layer protections in the Ethereum application version 1.22.2 released on August 13 and fixed the underlying issue in Secure SDK 26.6.1 on August 21. Ledger emphasized that no users were hacked as a result; this was merely a replication of the vulnerability in a laboratory environment.This security test occurred after the Coldcard vulnerability incident. Previously, the Coldcard wallet had a firmware vulnerability that posed security risks to some mnemonic phrase generation, but Ledger stated that its devices were not affected by this vulnerability because recovery phrases are generated by a certified random source built into the device's secure chip. The vulnerability replicated by OneKey is unrelated to mnemonic phrase generation but affects the way transactions are processed during the signing process.
