UXUY launched the stock tokenization platform uStock to assist U.S. and Hong Kong listed companies in expanding on-chain liquidity

Decentralized exchange UXUY announced the launch of the stock tokenization service platform uStock, primarily targeting small and medium-sized listed companies in the US and Hong Kong stock markets. The platform plans to provide share issuance, on-chain investor distribution, and post-issuance liquidity services, connecting listed companies with global on-chain investors, using stablecoins such as UUSD as tools for subscription, pricing, and settlement.According to the proposed product mechanism, each uToken corresponds to the economic rights of one share of the underlying stock, covering price changes, cash dividends, and corporate actions such as stock splits and mergers. The underlying stocks are intended to be custodied by licensed brokerages, trusts, and other institutions, isolated through independent asset holding entities. The platform plans to disclose stock custody, token issuance, and asset coverage through a Proof of Underlying asset verification mechanism.uStock will establish an initial liquidity pool for uToken/UUSD using part of the raised funds according to the issuance documents and will introduce on-chain market makers. As the spot market and infrastructure advance, the platform intends to gradually support round-the-clock on-chain trading and explore integration with UXUY's self-developed Perp DEX to expand on-chain perpetual contract trading for corresponding uToken assets.UXUY founder 0xKevin stated, "We are bringing stablecoins into more real asset scenarios, allowing US and Hong Kong listed companies to connect with global investors and capital. In the future, we will continuously improve issuance, trading, and liquidity services around real stock rights, establishing a more long-term connection between corporate growth and global on-chain capital."

first_img South Korean police arrested 7 people in the first large-scale AI-assisted hacking case

Seoul police arrested 7 suspects accused of using generative AI to launch hacking attacks. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated that about 90 organizations were involved, collectively stealing 8.2 million records, marking the first large-scale arrest of suspects in AI-assisted hacking attacks in South Korea. The targeted victims included hospitals, universities, private tutoring centers, golf courses, and subsidiaries of large corporate groups, all of which held a significant amount of personal information, including names, contact details, and records of ordinary citizens. One funeral service company lost 1.22 million records, and reports indicated that the tutoring center's data also contained information on minors.According to local media reports, the main suspect, 32 years old, studied arts and sports and has no IT background. He told investigators that he self-taught hacking techniques through YouTube and online blogs, while police pointed out that he had worked in a security company conducting simulated attacks from 2019 to 2022. He initially used website vulnerability scanning tools and later introduced AI coding proxies and an automated penetration testing system called Artex at the end of August. Police stated that he hacked into 60 companies over a span of 44 days from August 31 to October 13.The entire attack operation lasted about 13 months, from September 2025 to this October, and the case was filed in June after a victim reported it. Police indicated that such a large-scale attack previously required a hacker group to accomplish, but AI now allows one person to achieve this in a short time. The suspect sent emails to 38 victims, collectively extorting 360 million Korean won, approximately 272,000 US dollars, but the only confirmed payment was 300,000 won, about 210 dollars. The main suspect was detained and transferred to prosecutors last Friday, facing charges of violating South Korea's Information and Communication Network Act, as well as extortion and attempted extortion. Police will continue to investigate the other 6 accomplices and confirm more victims, with 15 institutions already reporting damages.

YZi Labs launched the first phase of the Atlas Scout program to assist the new generation of college student entrepreneurs in obtaining early support

According to official news, YZi Labs announced the launch of the first phase of the Atlas Scout program, recruiting four students from Stanford University, Yale University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, Los Angeles, to participate in early investment projects in the fields of Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), and biotechnology. The program aims to allow outstanding university students to gain early exposure to venture capital, participate in project discovery, preliminary research, due diligence, and investment judgment, and encourage them to organize entrepreneurial communities on campus and explore investment opportunities. YZi Labs will provide a maximum of $1 million in intended investment for related investment opportunities in this program and open its ecosystem network composed of over 300 portfolio companies.YZi Labs stated that many potential entrepreneurs often begin their explorations in laboratories, open-source projects, campus entrepreneurial organizations, and technology communities before entering traditional financing channels, and their peers who learn and work with them usually discover their potential earlier. The Atlas Scout program hopes to leverage students' own campus networks to help these early entrepreneurs obtain capital, mentorship, and industry resources. Eligible entrepreneurial teams will also have the opportunity to connect with YZi Labs' EASY Residency program or further discuss investment collaboration. The Atlas Scout program not only expands financing and resource channels for early entrepreneurs but also allows participating students to accumulate venture capital experience through practical projects, enhancing their project evaluation, founder communication, and investment judgment skills.YZi Labs stated that Scouts can independently carry out campus activities based on their interests, such as organizing technical exchanges, gathering entrepreneurial teams, or discovering potential investment projects, while receiving guidance and ecosystem resource support from YZi Labs in the process. The program aims to establish connections before entrepreneurial projects gain widespread attention, allowing initial ideas on campus to have the opportunity to develop into actual projects, while cultivating a new generation of investors who can identify technological trends and entrepreneurial potential earlier.

From "Can Pay" to "Get Things Done": X-Agent is building an on-chain personal AI assistant

X-Agent released the latest technical article "From Agent Payments to an Onchain Personal Assistant," revealing the important product direction for the next phase: moving from Agent Payments to an Onchain Personal Assistant that can understand user intent, obtain authorization, execute on-chain operations, and continuously track results.Unlike simply allowing the AI Agent to "have a wallet," X-Agent aims to solve a more critical issue: how to enable the Agent to safely complete an on-chain task on behalf of the user. For example, when a renewal bill arrives, the AI assistant can understand the bill, verify the payee and amount, generate a payment plan, and complete the transaction after user authorization; even if there are timeouts or interruptions during the process, it should resume the original task and check the payment status, rather than blindly repeating the payment. After the payment is completed, the Agent also needs to continue confirming whether the service purchased by the user has truly been delivered. To achieve this goal, X-Agent plans to further connect the three major modules: Agent ID, Agentic Email, and Agentic Wallet, which will respectively handle identity and responsibility attribution, task and communication entry, and controlled on-chain fund execution. Through mechanisms such as payment pre-calculation, one-time authorization, budget control, recovery, and reconciliation, clear security boundaries will be established for the Agent's autonomous execution. Its core logic can be summarized as: user intent → clear authorization → on-chain execution → result verification.X-Agent believes that a true on-chain AI assistant is not just "initiating a transaction on behalf of the user," but is capable of continuously completing tasks and being accountable for the final results under controlled permissions. This also means that X-Agent is exploring a persistent on-chain AI assistant aimed at individual users, moving beyond the infrastructure of Agent payments.

Rena Lan Cai essentially serves as an investment research assistance tool, not providing investment advice and avoiding direct trading compliance red lines.

first_img An OpenAI engineer was arrested for allegedly installing hidden recording devices in the office, and the company stated that AI assisted in the identification

According to Decrypt, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested OpenAI engineer Abdulrahman Alfozan on October 9. The suspect, 35 years old and of Saudi nationality, has been employed at OpenAI since July 2025 and is accused of using or attempting to use devices to intercept oral communications. He made his first appearance in federal court this Tuesday. OpenAI stated that it has referred the matter to the FBI and thanked the relevant agents and prosecutors for their swift action, while the FBI's investigation is ongoing.OpenAI released a statement on X, stating that the company discovered a sophisticated recording device hidden in the office and used its own model to analyze the device and its origin, ultimately identifying that an employee placed it there a few days prior. According to the criminal complaint, the device was discovered around September 30, plugged into a USB port on the back of a television, wrapped in paper towels, with its contents encrypted, and was installed around September 28. Surveillance footage showed that Alfozan was seen near the conference room multiple times before the device was discovered, but he had neither the authority to enter that room nor to attend the related meetings, which typically involved confidential technical and strategic information. The complaint states that before the device was installed, Alfozan used internal productivity tools to inquire about OpenAI's office building address, conference rooms, room capacities, schedules, and locations of meetings between executives and external partners. A chatbot account associated with his spouse asked between September 24 and 30 how to create a continuous recording device, add Wi-Fi connectivity, enhance real-time listening capabilities, and encrypt the device's SD card.

ZachXBT revealed an undercover investigation: infiltrating a money laundering group suspected of being part of the Lazarus Group and assisting in freezing funds related to the Bybit attack incident

"On-Chain Detective" ZachXBT stated that he once disguised himself as a client to infiltrate a criminal gang suspected of laundering money for the North Korean-backed hacker organization Lazarus Group, and assisted in freezing funds related to the 2025 Bybit attack incident.ZachXBT indicated that after Bybit was attacked for $1.5 billion in February 2025, he discovered over 15 accounts seeking help with transactions related to the stolen funds in public Telegram and Discord groups. He then contacted a Telegram user using the alias "Jimmy Green" and built trust through multiple transactions.According to his disclosure, on March 6, 2025, he transferred $3.497 million USDC to an Ethereum address for exchanging USDC with TRON chain USDT. The Gas funds for that address trace back to the Bybit attack funds and have been publicly marked as a Bybit attack blacklist address.ZachXBT stated that in subsequent communications, the other party revealed that their team had participated in handling the stolen funds from Bybit and disclosed in advance that the funds would be transferred on chains such as Solana. By matching transaction times, amounts, and on-chain data, he discovered a wallet cluster involving over $12 million of Bybit attack funds, with funding paths including BTC→ETH→SOL→TRON and others, among which approximately 442,000 USDT had been frozen by Tether. The gang also attempted to launder money through Uniswap liquidity pools and low liquidity tokens. In addition, the other party revealed that they had helped other clients handle approximately $3 million in scam proceeds, and ZachXBT tracked the related funds flowing to sanctioned Huione Guarantee-related wallets.ZachXBT disclosed that during this investigation, he initially invested $3.497 million and bore about 5% loss risk for each transaction. The intelligence obtained was promptly provided to relevant investigative agencies and law enforcement. Since 2022, he has assisted in freezing over $75 million related to North Korea-related incidents.
