Bitget partners with VETA Finance to upgrade stock dual-currency investment and expand the tokenized wealth management scenarios for U.S. stocks

According to official news from Bitget, the platform announced a collaboration with the structured product liquidity service provider VETA Finance to upgrade its stock dual-currency investment products. This upgrade expands the product pool on top of existing popular targets such as NVIDIA (rNVDA), Google (rGOOGL), and AMD (rAMD), enriching the investment duration options; relying on deeper liquidity support, it offers more competitive annualized returns while optimizing product structure and settlement mechanisms, bringing users a better trading experience and more diverse income opportunities.Currently, Bitget's stock dual-currency investment supports two strategies: "buy low" and "sell high." Users can use USDT or eligible U.S. stock tokens for subscription, and based on preset target prices and investment durations, complete corresponding asset conversions according to the settlement price at maturity and receive corresponding interest income. In addition, Bitget also plans to launch structured products such as accumulation purchase and accumulation sale options (AQ) with VETA Finance based on the rToken ecosystem, expanding the product layout from standardized wealth management to customized solutions, further enriching multi-asset wealth management options under the panoramic exchange (UEX) ecosystem.

first_img Bill Gates: AI will experience 20 years of turmoil before creating true wealth

Phoenix Technology cites a report from Business Insider, stating that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates mentioned in the latest episode of the "Decoder" podcast that artificial intelligence will create "true abundance," but the next 20 years will be as turbulent as any period in human history, with unprecedented job losses and chaos, resulting in winners and losers.Gates indicated that jobs such as telemarketing, customer service, and accounting will disappear, as AI can perform these tasks more cheaply, quickly, and even more accurately; blue-collar jobs will be taken over by humanoid robots. If not significantly slowed down or stopped, robots capable of building houses, growing food, and performing surgeries will emerge, making human labor unnecessary for most goods and services. He believes that work provides a sense of purpose, income, a reason to attend, relationships with colleagues, and pathways for creativity and problem-solving, while activities such as art, sports, cooking, and parenting can be left to humans in the future. The report also mentions that Jeff Bezos and Jamie Dimon have proposed shortening the workweek; Elon Musk has predicted that the transition will be "bumpy" and advocates for the government to issue checks to everyone; Dalio Amodi stated that AI is expected to improve quality of life, but the scale of short-term impacts will be unprecedented; Sam Altman mentioned in May of this year that the number of white-collar jobs eliminated by AI is not as high as he expected. Despite concerns that AI will replace jobs and high-profile layoffs at companies like Amazon and Meta, the unemployment rate in the U.S. has not significantly risen during the AI boom.

Currently, there are over 50 spot cryptocurrency ETPs in the U.S. market, and the number is still increasing, covering BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, LINK, XRP, ZEC, HYPE, cryptocurrency portfolios, and more. first_img Hyperliquid CEO: The Wall Street wealth creation model is unsustainable for most participants

The co-founder and CEO of the decentralized perpetual contract trading platform Hyperliquid, Jeff Yan, stated during a fireside chat at the Token2049 conference in Singapore that traditional wealth creation opportunities on Wall Street, such as company stocks, are essentially inaccessible to the investing public before they are listed on exchanges, causing retail investors to miss out on the most significant price increases prior to listing. He noted that certain assets are tradable by only a few people during most of their growth phases, and by the time the public can trade them, the growth has already been captured by a privileged few, making this wealth creation model unsustainable.Yan stated that Hyperliquid's main mission is to expand the accessibility of wealth creation opportunities and encourage more people to participate in the financial system, with income being merely a byproduct. He mentioned that Hyperliquid's success partly stems from its perpetual contracts having no expiration date, which reduces the number of decisions traders need to make and prevents liquidity fragmentation. According to data from DefiLlama, Hyperliquid generated $72 million in revenue over the past 30 days, ranking third among protocols in terms of revenue.Blockchain asset management company Pantera stated in July that perpetual contracts, due to their structural advantages, could become one of the dominant trading tools in the global financial sector, and Hyperliquid has demonstrated the potential of blockchain infrastructure to challenge traditional markets. Jeffrey Sprecher, CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, called on regulators to create a fair competitive environment for the launch of 24/7 on-chain perpetual contracts. In March of this year, the New York Stock Exchange partnered with the tokenization platform Securitize to advance blockchain-based stock trading infrastructure.

Survey: Wealthy investors from the G7 have a cryptocurrency holding ratio of about 10%, with most planning to continue increasing their allocation

CoinShares' latest survey shows that among wealthy investors in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Switzerland, the majority already hold cryptocurrency assets, averaging about 10% of their portfolios. The survey covered 2,230 investors with at least $500,000 in investable assets, with Sweden's cryptocurrency holding rate at 54%, while the rates for the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Switzerland are around 70%.Among investors who already hold digital assets, at least 85% in five of the seven countries indicated plans to increase their holdings by 2026, with the proportion reaching 91% in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany. The decline in the cryptocurrency market in February this year did not significantly weaken investment willingness; among respondents from the seven countries, more believed that the market sell-off actually increased their willingness to invest than those who felt it decreased their willingness. The survey indicates that long-term appreciation and asset diversification are the main reasons for investing in cryptocurrency assets, with only 6% of respondents primarily viewing themselves as short-term traders.Bitcoin remains the most widely held digital asset, with an average of 80% of cryptocurrency investors holding BTC; 77% of respondents believe BTC will play an important role in the future global financial system, and 79% support strengthening regulation of the digital asset market. Meanwhile, about 40% of respondents in Switzerland, France, the United States, and Germany who work with financial advisors believe that advisors are overly cautious about digital assets. CoinShares stated that the interest of wealthy investors in cryptocurrency assets is forming a stark contrast to the cautious attitude of the traditional wealth management industry.

The 2026 Wealth Survey by U.S. Bank shows that the average American Generation Z starts accumulating wealth at 19 years old, significantly earlier than previous generations.
