first_img DoubleZero launches Kalshi election data, preparing for the U.S. midterm elections

According to CoinDesk, DoubleZero has integrated Kalshi's election and political prediction market data into its low-latency data platform DoubleZero Edge, providing real-time order book information for institutional and automated traders. This subscription data stream covers transactions, best bid and ask prices, and market depth aggregated by price, distributed through DoubleZero's contributor-driven fiber network built on Solana.DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa stated that prediction markets are becoming a source of real-time information, but their value depends on the speed of action. If debates, court rulings, or breaking news change market direction within seconds, delayed snapshots become outdated. Placing Kalshi's real-time order book data for elections and politics on DoubleZero Edge can convert probabilities into machine-readable market data for professional traders and AI systems to consume and execute in real-time.This launch coincides with the acceleration of trading related to the U.S. midterm elections. According to data from the Anti-Corruption Data Collective, as of August 10, bets on the 2026 congressional elections on Kalshi, Polymarket, and Polymarket US have exceeded $133 million, surpassing the $92.4 million for the entire 2024 congressional election cycle. Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction market exchange, and the midterm elections on November 3 will determine control of Congress.

Licheng, Jingyuan Electronics, and Silergy all reported year-on-year and month-on-month revenue growth in August, with Licheng and Silergy setting new historical highs for two consecutive months. Licheng's consolidated revenue in August was 8.558 billion New Taiwan Dollars, a month-on-month increase of 3.48% and a year-on-year increase of 24.46%. After breaking the 8 billion mark for the first time in July and setting a historical high, August saw another record. The cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached 61.258 billion New Taiwan Dollars, a year-on-year increase of 30.83%. Jingyuan Electronics reported revenue of 4.08 billion New Taiwan Dollars in August, a month-on-month increase of 2.23% and a year-on-year increase of 31.58%. The cumulative revenue for the first eight months was 29.404 billion New Taiwan Dollars, a year-on-year increase of 35.53%. Silergy's revenue in August was 2.07 billion New Taiwan Dollars, with a month-on-month increase of nearly 3% and a year-on-year increase of nearly 29%. The cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached 15.26 billion New Taiwan Dollars, a year-on-year increase of over 20%.Licheng's main source of growth this year remains the rebound in demand for memory packaging and testing. Licheng previously anticipated that revenue in the third quarter would show single-digit quarter-on-quarter growth, with the fourth quarter having the potential to exceed the third quarter. The momentum for memory orders is expected to continue until the end of the year, with a positive market outlook at the beginning of next year. In addition to its core memory business, advanced packaging has become a key focus for the next phase of development. The panel-level packaging has already been adopted by American clients, and the production capacity of the P11 plant has been secured by clients, with plans to enter the mass production phase of integrated ASIC and HBM AI chips by mid-2027.Jingyuan Electronics has been actively expanding its high-end testing capacity in recent years, with AI-related products becoming an important driving force for its operations. The testing demand for AI GPUs, ASICs, and high-performance computing chips remains its main source of growth. Silergy pointed out that the demand for AI and high-speed interconnects is strong, including an increase in demand for high-performance computing chips such as CPUs, GPUs, ASICs, and AI accelerators. After completing the cleanroom construction at the newly acquired Hukou plant in February, Silergy began mass production in July, currently achieving 40% of the total capacity of the plant and gradually taking on new demand from overseas clients.

Cerebras released its fourth-generation AI inference system CS-4 this week, based on the same 5nm WSE-3 wafer, achieving double the performance by doubling the clock frequency and power consumption. A single CS-4 cabinet accommodates 3 wafers (CS-3 has 2), featuring a modular "backpack" design that simplifies manufacturing and deployment, with a TDP of approximately 125 to 135kW. The CS-4 can provide an inference speed of nearly 4000 tokens/second/user, about twice that of the CS-3, and supports decomposed inference with heterogeneous systems such as AMD and AWS Trainium.Cerebras claims that the CS-4 offers about 2000 times the on-chip memory bandwidth of NVIDIA's Rubin (43PB/s), but the 44GB SRAM capacity remains unchanged, and long-context inference still requires multi-wafer stacking. For example, with the DeepSeek V4 Pro (1.6T parameters), approximately 20 systems are needed for a 1M context window, and about 40 systems are required for 256 concurrent users, corresponding to a CAPEX exceeding 20 million USD. Cerebras is collaborating with clients such as OpenAI and plans to achieve approximately double performance improvements each year, aiming for a 20-fold throughput increase by 2027. The "backpack" cabinet design of the CS-4 will continue into the next-generation "Nexus" platform.
